3D-printed automatic weather stations (PAWS) training

The CREWS-Afghanistan project activity "3D Printed Automatic Weather Stations (3DPAWS) Training" will be conducted at RTC Turkey from 30 September to 11 October 2024.
The training will be provided by trainers from RTC Turkey and the University Cooperation of Atmospheric Research (UCAR). This training is one of the planned project activities and will be attended by Six (6) staff from the installation and maintenance division of the Afghanistan Meteorological Department (AMD). The goal is to enable the collection of hydrometeorological data to enhance flash flood guidance products, thereby supporting AMD's operations in forecasting and issuing warnings for hydrometeorological hazards.
