Learning from Anticipatory Action in Tropical Cyclones: How early can we make decisions?

WMO and JRC seek to share success stories where tropical cyclone hazard information and expert advice played a key role to trigger early action (EA). Humanitarian agencies shall share their feedback and lessons learned to support the seamless integration of EA triggers and protocols for effective preparedness and response. By bringing together stakeholders with different mandates and scales of action (global to regional/national), JRC and WCM cannot only increase awareness of available products and attract new users but receive user feedback and recommendations to improve the information and expert advice they provide so they become effective decision support tools, i.e., EA triggers.
