This webinar will focus on a topic of growing interest: the study of climate storylines to guide adaptation and decision-making. Through an interdisciplinary dialogue between climatologists and anthropologists around a severe drought event in northeastern Argentina, we will show: how does analysing the event from multiple storyline perspectives can support more robust decision-making and contribute to the development of socially relevant climatic information for realistic climate risk decision making contexts. The result of this interdisciplinary approach was recently published in Environmental Science & Policy: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1462901124001825. Speakers: M. Florencia Fossa Riglos (PERyG-CESIA-EIDAES/UNSAM, Argentina) Leandro B. Díaz (CIMA-UBA-CONICET-IFAECI-CNRS-IRD, Argentina) Register here: https://forms.gle/wYjcbbWK3mbusS327
