United Nations 2023 Water Conference

The UN 2023 Water Conference takes place at the UN HQ in New York from 22 to 24 March 2023 and aims to mobilize water action and create the political momentum needed to achieve SDG 6 and other water related goals and targets. 

The Conference features an opening and closing ceremony, six plenary meetings and five multi-stakeholder interactive dialogues. It will also feature a number of high-level special events and side events organized by Member States, the UN system and other stakeholders. 

WMO is present at the UN 2023 Water Conference and is advocating its mandate and activities related to water, as well as foster and establish strategic partnerships with Governments, UN, private sector, academia, IFIs, NGOs, CSOs and other partners. 

WMO is leading a delegation of members and organizing side-events. Please find the list of activities organized below with respective registration links.
