WMO Global Campus Initiative
The WMO Global Campus is an innovative initiative by the World Meteorological Organization. It aims to strengthen education, training, and knowledge-sharing in meteorology, hydrology, and climate science worldwide. The goal is to enhance capacity for educating and training professionals in WMO Member states and territories, closing the capacity gap by building a global network of education and training providers.
Collaborative Network and Resources
The Global Campus connects WMO Regional Training Centres, universities, regional and global training programmes, and national meteorological and hydrological services. This network fosters cooperation between researchers, educators, and practitioners. It provides open access to high-quality educational resources and tools, helping build a knowledgeable workforce equipped with the latest advancements in science and technology.
