CMA adjusts agro-meteorological station network and task for the 4th time

On December 29, 2023, China Meteorological Administration (CMA) issued the Agro-meteorological Station Network and Task Adjustment Plan (Trial) (hereinafter referred to as the Plan), which marks the fourth adjustment of China's agro-meteorological station network and task.

The Plan pointed out that some of the manual agro-meteorological observing stations will go through adjustment. 4 symbolic provincial meteorological observatories with good observation capacity will be upgraded to national level meteorological observatories.
