Two of Chinese meteorological stations in Antarctica are put into operation - China Meteorological Administration

At 8:00 p.m. on November 30, National Meteorological Information Center (NMIC) of China Meteorological Administration (CMA) received meteorological observation data registered by Kunlun meteorological station and Taishan station in Antarctica. This signifies that after 5-year and nearly 9-year stable operation respectively, the two meteorological stations have been equipped with the operational capability. From December 1, they will enter official operation and will obtain long-term and continuous conventional meteorological observation data.
