Biographic Overview
James Earl Anderson is VP, Global Sales for AEM, Inc. He has spent his career at the intersection of private enterprise and environmental policy. He believes that business can be a dynamic force for progress on a variety of environmental issues, including climate change, that are primary determinants of human thriving. With two decades of experience as a go-to-market leader in the environmental tech space, as well as training in business, environmental economics and policy, and wildlife ecology, Jim brings an unusual marriage of science, policy, and business experience to his work. With his customer focus, growth orientation, drive, and thought leadership, Jim is ideally positioned to help large enterprises and government organizations define and navigate their path to a sustainable zero emissions future. Jim has been enthralled with nature since he first climbed (and fell out of) the sycamore tree at his boyhood home in Madison, WI. Early experiences with Outward Bound, working at the Aldo Leopold Memorial Reserve and others solidified his fascination and love for the environment. Anderson brings this passion and experience to Good Enough for the Climate. Jim is a backpacker, biker, and beekeeper. His most important life’s work is being father of three amazing young women, who still agree to spend backcountry nights with him in a tent under the stars.
