First Meeting of WMO Centres in Regional Association II (Asia)

This meeting was convened in accordance with Resolution 1 (RA II-18(I)) of the RA II Eighteenth Session (Phase I), which had mandated the establishment of a virtual network for WMO Centres in RA II to strengthen regional collaboration and support Members in implementing initiatives such as EW4All and the WMO Coordination Mechanism (WCM).
Following the launch of an informal communication channel earlier in the year, this first online meeting on 9 April 2026 marked the next step in activating the network. It introduced the RA II work programme and provided a platform for selected Centres to share activity updates.
