The RA III Expert Team on Hydrological Models, Forecasts, and Services (RA III-ET-MPS) works under the Committee of Hydrology and Water Resources (RA III-C-HWR) to assess national needs in monitoring, forecasting, and service delivery at all scales. It supports regional flood hubs—PROHMSAT and NWSAFFGS—by guiding their transition to the Flood Forecasting Framework (FFF), elevating PROHMSAT into a Regional Operational Hydrology Center, and exploring QPE/QPF methods. The ET-MPS also strengthens resilience by promoting HydroSOS adoption.
