The Cabinet Office of the Secretary-General provides strategic and political advice to the Secretary-General. It oversees monitoring, evaluation, risk and planning management (MERP), strategic communication, socioeconomic benefits, external relations and constituent bodies of the organization.
The Cabinet Office also overlooks the United Nations liaison office in New York and the European Union Affairs office in Brussels.
Paul Egerton is the Director of the Cabinet and oversees the following divisions and units:
