On September 14, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) High-level Dialogue on Climate Science Information for Climate Finance & 53rd Senior Official Field Exchange (SOFE) opened in Beijing.

Held in a hybrid in‑person and online format, this event has brought together representatives from National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) across the world, WMO, the Climate Risk and Early Warning Systems (CREWS) initiative and other institutions.

Participants focused on empowering climate finance with climate science information to advance the implementation of the United Nations Early Warnings for All initiative (EW4All).
