Fifth WMO AI Webinar - good practices identified through ECMWF AI Weather Quest

WMO AI Webinar is to share good practices on AI applications among WMO Members. The 5th AI Webinar specifically focuses on AI-based sub-seasonal prediction through the AI Weather Quest competition organized by ECMWF in collaboration with WMO. The session will celebrate the achievements of the first year of the initiative and share scientific insights gained. Leading teams from China, Europe and the United States will present their approaches and lessons learned, followed by discussion and questions from the community. ECMWF will also introduce the next phase of the Quest and its continuation as a long-term international benchmarking and learning framework. 

Join us to hear directly from some of the Quest’s leading teams and explore the latest progress made by the international AI weather forecasting community. Participants will learn how AI approaches are being applied to sub-seasonal prediction and discover which organizations are at the forefront of developing these innovative technologies worldwide.
