Launch of the 1st World Day for Glaciers and pivot event World Water Day

For the celebration of the first World Day for Glaciers and the pivot event of the World Water Day, a high-level event will take place on 21 March 2025 in the UN Headquarters in New York. The 2025 global campaign for the World Day for Glaciers and World Water Day, will highlight the various impacts of glacier changes on downstream communities and ecosystems, and the need for developing water-related adaptation strategies.
