Bruce Hewitson is the director of the Climate System Analysis Group (CSAG) at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, a transdisciplinary climate research center. He has 30 years of broad experience in regional climate research and stakeholder engagement.  Key foci include developing actionable climate information for decision-makers, climate services, capacity development, and issues of ethics and values in climate research.  Current projects include developing a new Community of Practice on climate change and cities and fostering equity partnerships between the global north and south.
