Ye Huang

Dr. Ye Huang received his Ph.D. in Grid Computing from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. After very active publication and academic activities during his research work, Dr. Huang switched to the industry in 2011 and worked in a variety of enterprises in Germany as a full-stack DevOps engineer and Cloud architect.

Dr. Huang joined Alibaba Cloud in Europe as a solution architect, he took the role of head of solution architect of Alibaba Cloud DACH region in 2018; from 2021, Dr. Huang worked as director of industry solutions of Alibaba Cloud International Business, responsible for Alibaba Cloud's products and solutions roll-out to industrial scenarios in global, including but not limited to industries like internet, financial, manufacturing, retail, and more.

In 2022, Dr. Huang returned from Alibaba Cloud HQ to Europe, and built a new country territory as country manager, covering Alibaba Cloud business in the Benelux region, especially the Netherlands.

From 2023, Dr. Ye Huang is appointed as the country manager responsible for the Alibaba Cloud business in the German-speaking DACH region, the Benelux region, and the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region.

Dr. Ye Huang is also a guest lecturer at the University of Zürich Switzerland.
