It provides authoritative information for decision-making based on a consensus of models from WMO Global Producing Centres, experts from National Meteorological and Hydrological Services and climate prediction centres around the world.
Press conference 1000 CEST (0800 GMT) with WMO Secretary-General Celeste Saulo will be broadcast by UN WebTV.
