World Meteorological Day 2026 & WMO Strategic Consultations – Burkina Faso

WMO, in collaboration with the Government of Burkina Faso and the Agence Nationale de la Météorologie (ANAM), will commemorate World Meteorological Day 2026 in Ouagadougou on 23 March 2026. The event will highlight the role of meteorology and early warning systems in strengthening resilience and sustainable development. The programme will include the inauguration of a meteorological monitoring room supported by WMO and a thematic exchange on advancing national forecasting and climate services.
