Alberto Troccoli

Co-founder and CEO of Inside Climate Service, Managing Director of the World Energy and Meteorology Council (WEMC)

Dr Alberto Troccoli is the co-founder and CEO of Inside Climate Service srl and Managing Director of the World Energy & Meteorology Council. With over 30 years of experience in meteorology and climate, including senior roles at NASA, ECMWF, CSIRO, and the University of East Anglia, his work bridges science and practical applications in the energy sector. He leads the Copernicus Climate Change Service’s Energy operations and developed the Teal tool for climate data visualisation. Alberto has authored numerous scientific publications, including WMO reports, and is chief editor of four books. He holds a PhD in Physical Oceanography from the University of Edinburgh.
