Imen Gherboudj is a Programme Officer at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). She leads the organization’s work on the Renewable Energy Resource Assessment, specifically the Global Atlas for Renewable Energy Initiative, aimed at advancing the clean energy transition. With 20 years of experience across the public and private sectors, she has worked in academia, research centers, and international institutions, contributing to a wide range of fields including energy, remote sensing technologies, environment, climate, and innovation. She holds a Ph.D. in Water Sciences from the University of Quebec (Canada) and an MSc in Electronics Engineering from the University of Paris XI (France).
