Daniel Trup

Legal Counsel, WMO

Daniel Trup has worked in a variety of legal fields both in the United Kingdom and abroad. Before joining WMO, Mr Trup had worked as Legal Counsel for the Office of Staff Legal Assistance in the Office of Administration of Justice of the United Nations in Nairobi (Kenya), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) and New York (United States) (2013-2020), for United Nations Human Rights Advisory Panel in Kosovo (2012-2013), the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo as Senior Legal Officer in the Special Prosecutor’s Office (2009-2012) and as Legal Officer in the Prosecutor’s Office in the State Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (2008-2009). Mr Trup holds an LLM in International Law from the University of Kent.
