Amanda McCarty is a Senior Advisor in the Office of the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate for the USA. Ms McCarty has 15+ years of experience in environmental policy, international negotiations, scientific research, public service, partnership development, program management, and strategic planning. 

Prior to her time with the Office of the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, Ms McCarty worked with NOAA for over 14 years.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Pacific Lutheran University and a Master in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston.
