Benedicte Giæver

Executive Director of NORCAP

Benedicte Giæver is the Executive Director of NORCAP, which is part of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC). Giæver has extensive experience from management positions within humanitarian, development and peacebuilding sectors and more than a decade of field experience from Rwanda, Liberia and Kosovo. She has worked for various UN agencies, the OSCE and the International Committee of the Red Cross.  Giæver holds a degree in Development Economics as well as a Master's degree in Gender Analysis Development from the University of East Anglia in England.
