The training "Hydrometeorological variability and water monitoring by Satellite altimetry - Session 2" will focus on enhancing participants' knowledge on the production of bulletins based on the analysis of hydrological variability by satellite altimetry data in lakes and rivers. It is supported by specialists from the national meteorological and hydrological services, river basin organizations and research centers, that participated in the "Training of trainers" session held in Lomé from March 17 to 19).
This session, delivered in French, is part of a series of training sessions focused on guiding participants on accessing and using relevant satellite data to support operational hydrology, early warning decisions, disaster risk management, and sustainable water resources management in the ECCAS region and throughout Africa.
