Advisory Council
The WMO HydroHub Advisory Council (AC) provides strategic oversight to the WMO HydroHub, advising the Secretariat on the concept, objectives, expected benefits/costs, operational issues, and future development of the WMO HydroHub and its components.

Think Tank
The WMO HydroHub Think Tank is a flexible and open group of experts that promotes and supports innovation and sustainable development of hydrometric monitoring capacity within all WMO HydroHub activities.

Commission for Observation, Infrastructure and Information Systems (INFCOM)

The Commission for Observation, Infrastructure and Information Systems (Infrastructure Commission) contributes to:

  • the development and implementation of globally coordinated systems for acquiring, processing, transmitting, and disseminating Earth system observations, and related standards;
  • the coordination of the production and use of standardized analysis and model forecast fields;
  • and the development and implementation of sound data and information management practices for all WMO Programmes and their associated application and service areas.

Commission for Weather, Climate, Water and Related Environmental Services and Applications (SERCOM)

The Commission for Weather, Climate, Water and Related Environmental Services & Applications (Services Commission or SERCOM) is charged with leading and coordinating the promotion, development and implementation of globally consistent and user-focused services based on principles of good practice, opportunities for all and long-term sustainability.

Assessment of the Performance of Flow Measurement Instruments and Techniques (Project X)

The goal of Project X is to collect and make information on hydrometric instruments and measurement methodologies (both new and current technologies) available, to assess their performance against WMO standards, and to encourage and promote standardized approaches. Project X supports the WMO HydroHub by providing guidance, criteria, and standards in the long term for the testing and verification of innovative technology.
