April 2022 was warmer than normal in temperatures with below average precipitation and wind speed. The mean temperature of the month was 27.3°C which is 1.3°C above the long-term normal for April and this goes on record as the fourth highest mean temperature for April since 1902. Note that the highest mean monthly temperature for April was 27.7°C recorded in 2021.
