Through the specific nature of joint liaison office that he manages, he ensures the availability of a single-entry point to the Meteorological and hydrological community (including to the European Meteorological Infrasturcture, EMI) for our colleagues of the EU.
Graduated in Human Resources management and Political Sciences with a specialization in European Integration, Mr Jacob started his career within the Belgian government where he served as personal advisor to Ministers in charge of Federal Scientific Institutes, Science Policy, Research and Economy.
Prior to joining WMO, Mr Jacob established and managed for 5 years the European Space Industry’s liaison office with the EU in Brussels.
